I will meet with my hiking group at Killarney at 10:30. After I have made sure they have the right footwear and clothing for our walk, I will discuss our day with them and show them our route clearly on the map. From this meeting point we have to drive 10 minutes to the starting point near Torc Waterfall.
We will start our walk together at a leisurely pace and I will make sure that everybody is comfortable and happy.
We will stop at regular intervals for people to enjoy the scenery, to take pictures, and have some food and drinks.
During the walk I like to talk with my group about hiking issues related to the area, and sites of interest such as standing stones, stone circles, ancient dwelling places, etc.
The walking route will be to Torc Waterfall & Mountain with a great view of lakes and mountains in Killarney National Park.
Guests should have own transport to drive about 10 minutes to the starting point near Torc Waterfall.

Had a fantastic hike with Cesar today. As well as going to the top of Torc mountain, we then went off the beaten track which had much more spectacular views than the regular track provided. Cesar was very knowledgeable about the area and hill walking in general. He was very friendly and informative. . I would highly recommend him for an unforgettable hike.
The Kerry Way is an easy walk in The Black Valley, walking on green road and level tracks, with only a short section of mountain path up and down. It’s suitable for families and all fitness level.
The walking route will be first on a narrow road along The Cummeenduff Glen and Lakes, after by the river to the mountain pass with Bridia Valley, where we would have lunch break. Return via the Kerry Way trail, surrounded by the highest mountains in Ireland.
Guests should have own transport to drive about 20 minutes from Kate Kearney’s through The Gap of Dunloe to the starting point in The Black Valley.
Tomies Wood is the oldest oak forest in Ireland located inside Killarney National Park.
We will start our 4 hours walk together at a leisurely pace and I will make sure that everybody is comfortable and happy. We will stop at regular intervals for people to enjoy the scenery, have some food, drinks, etc.
During the walk I like to talk with my group about issues related to the area, and sites of interest such as ancient dwelling places.
The walking route suitable for moderate fitness level, will be via the green road loop, some tracks into the wood and the lower slopes of Tomies and Shehy mountains. Great views of Killarney town, Lough Leane, and O’Sullivan’s Cascade.
I always aim to make the walks a very special and memorable experience for my clients. Every one of my guided walks has its' own particular places of outstanding beauty.
Guests must have own transport to go to meeting-starting point.

Book this hike! Don’t miss this one! Cesar is such a kind & caring person who will tailor a hike to suit you, as an individual, perfectly. He loves what he does & has a knowledge of Killarney that goes beyond even what locals know of the area. I can’t recommend this hike enough. Tomies Wood is in an unique & untouched part of Killarney with gorgeous flora & fauna, mountains & ancient oaks, rivers & streams, waterfalls & stunning views that will remain in your heart & mind. You will feel very relaxed on this hike in that you can just be yourself and enjoy nature. I brought some food and a thermos of tea & we stopped whenever I wanted to take pictures & eat. You can hike as fast as you want as well. Do book this hike! It’s not to be missed!
